When one man is educated one family is educated but when one woman is educated whole society is educated. According to this statement “Shri Sabarmati Kelvani Trust” was established in the year of 1961 on Mahatma Gandhi’s Karmabhoomi – Sabrmati by his one of the follower Shri Chimanlal Nagindas Shah. That was the era when society didn’t give so much of importance to the woman & especially girls education, Shri Chimanlal Shah pioneered the woman education in the sabarmati area with the motto of primary education to the woman as a welfare activity.

Leader personalities of Sabarmati Jain Sangh & well wishers of sabarmati like Shri Popatlal Maganlal Shah, Shri Manilal Maganlal Shah, Shri Chandulal Kalidas, Shri Dr. Chhotubhai F Shah, Shri Manilal Ghelabhai, Shri Chimanlal Fulchand Shah conceived a thought of woman education which was drawn to a reality by Shri Chimanlal Nagindas Shah which was further developed to Primary – Secondary & Higher Secondary education.

Presently more than 1500 girls are making their education with this institution which was only 150 in 1961. Students of our institution have developed their skills & success in the field of Medicine, Engineering, Law, Arts & many more. Many students have got the top ranking in HSC & SSC boards.
